Enforcing laws against
illegal immigration is primarily a federal responsibility, but states play an essential role in it as well.As
a member of the House of Delegates, I will work tirelessly to:
Ensure that our state driver’s licenses are no longer granted
to people who have chosen to break our laws and enter our country illegally.
Try to limit taxpayer-funded services to serve only
those citizens who have come here legitimately or who were born in the United States, and who have earned the right to rely
upon them.
Protect both workers
and legitimate businesses from the abuses that stem from the unauthorized and illegal employment practices
Position
Illegal Immigration is a serious problem in Maryland. The flood of illegal aliens
(or “undocumented persons” or “guest workers”, or however we wish to characterize these individuals)
into our State has placed a tremendous strain on taxpayers. Illegal immigration is also harmful to Maryland's
job market, as well as to the job markets of virtually every other state in the nation.Worst of all, many
communities have seen documented proof that their crime rates have increased with the influx of illegal aliens.
